A client of ours was seeking to improve profit margins for one of their popular anti-corrosion pipeline products. They were investing a lot of time and labor to make a simple insulator between a pipe and the pipe support upon which it rested.

Their existing process required them to buy expensive custom made products and modify them to exacting specifications. The costs to support their internal purchasing, receiving, handling and actual manufacturing were taking valuable resources away from the ‘core’ products of the company. They wanted to outsource this process overseas but had no knowledge of how to navigate the complexities of overseas manufacturing and quality control.
